This Weekend's Featured Event: Becker Lavender Festival!

YUM! A great winery and a great festival! A later post will cover the Texas Hill Country Wine Trail, but suffice it to say, if you haven’t been to Becker yet, THIS festival is your excuse. A beautiful vineyard, great wines, a newly expanded tasting room, and a lavender festival….what more could you ask for?

Past festivals have featured great vendors…..everything from lavender soap and candles to crafts to gourmet food products. (I know for a fact that my friend Margaret Anaglia of Al’s Gourmet Nuts will be there. If you missed my first Pearl Farmers Market post…she makes the best candied nuts EVER.)

In conjunction with the festival, Becker hosts a Lavender Luncheon on both Saturday and Sunday, and a wine maker’s dinner on Saturday night. But they may be sold-out….call to check.

The festival runs Saturday from 10 am-6 pm and Sunday from noon- 5pm. Admission is free; parking is $5.
